The Mix-Up Marriage Podcast
Welcome! In this podcast we talk about family, love and faith (and everything else in-between) through the lens of our own experiences. When we got married two different worlds combined that isn't like your usually set up. An orphan Indian girl adopted and raised in a white family who are pastors, joined a black kid raised in Pittsburgh, PA and Hinesville, GA. An unusual mix up like this brings experiences and lessons worth sharing. Join us as we invite you into our mix up marriage.IG:@themixupmarriagepodcast Youtube: The Mix Up Marriage Business Inquiries: themixupmarriage@gmail.com. Ep. 58 Do Black People Like Swimming? + Happy Fathers Day & The Roles of a Godly Father
•

What's up Mixers this episode was fun. This week Ethan passed his swimming test at the pool. And I realized that everyone in our household knows how to swim and the topic came up of the stereotype of black people don't like going to the pool, beach etc. Or black people don't know how to swim. So we started thinking where did that come from and how come that saying has been associated with the black community? Also this Sunday is Fathers Day, so I gave a shout on air to a lot of the Fathers I know (if I missed anyone I apologize I didn't plan to do that) and how important it is for a father who is living for Jesus is supposed to live as an example to his family and honoring God in everything that he do.
